There was an almost never seen innocence, wonder, and awe, on the faces of the two children, and the wife of this young man that has been so good to me. Wonder and awe are the Hallmark of the still-alive soul. In all four I experience an almost never encountered presence of the divine.
Young lady, I replied, I hope you're right, and you know why I hope you're right? Because I want the joy of that, it's all I want to be. Jesus said, I tell you these words so that my joy might be fulfilled in you. And I said, Young lady, that's what I find, the more I study his teachings and try and live the way he did, the more joy I have.
